 Bath Abbey, Choir of Boys and Men The director since 1986 has been Peter King. The Abbey Choir undertakes trips abroad ,enjoying good relationships with Bath's twin cities Braunschweig (Germany) and Alkmaar (The Netherlands). There is also a girls choir. The Abbey has no Choir school, which enables it to draw its 24 boys, aged 8 upwards, from a variety of local schools. The 12 Choirmen come from many different walks of life and include Choral Scholars from the two universities in Bath The Abbey Choir has recorded two CDs (Priory Records) Music for an Abbey's Year, Year I & Year II.
