Synopsis
Documentary. Photographed in Austria this film visualizes the story of how and why the poem, reflecting on the Christmas season was set to music by the village schoolmaster in Obendorf in 1818, and how it traveled from the Alps throughout Europe and finally all over the world to become a beloved Christmas Carol. Features the Vienna Boys Choir.
