The Salem Boys Choir was founded by current Artistic Director Darrell James in 1986 to promote a concert by the Vienna Choir Boys. Concert tours have included trips across the United States, Great Britain, Austria, Czech Republic, and Canada. Members have appeared in several Portland Opera productions, most recently, Pagliacci & Carmina Burana in February 2000.
